Yeah, the monster pics are kind of plan B/future extension of the overall direction I'm heading as well as marking particular artists to follow. 

I'm looking at straight up simple wooden crosses.  Nail the lighting, and add some fog.  SIMPLE.  Cliche/sellable.  If I get real bored, maybe some breathing graves again.

Has Talia shown any interest or aptitude in lighting or sculpting?

She has unmistakable burgeoning design sense in her little-girl costume druthers, I think, and she's certainly been exposed to both the genes and the family culture to be an artist - and the practical execution details of sculpture and lighting (and staging and a lot of stuff Uno has nailed).  I'd be surprised if she's not displaying near-mastery at art in about five years.  Buster's been going that way, at 13, on the strength of a dad and relatives with talent who exposed her to being able to materialize her toddler fantasies, and a mother who would very patiently and persistently paint things under her direction from before she can probably remember now.  It's my absolute favorite thing about my sister-in-law.  If you want kids who will grow up to be readers, read to them when they're one and two and three, until they learn to read on their own.  If you want an artistic spawn someday, expose your toddler to art and take the time to indulge their fancies at least until they develop the motor skills to learn to execute and pursue art on their own.

Talia may or may not grow up to be interested in doing art, but I expect she'll have the ability and at minimum, be a snappy dresser who invents fashion.  Buster's showing definite signs of that, stylish, and not in the trendy sense.

She's more into reading and writing at the moment, and I'm perfectly fine with that. 

We'll see if she wants to do a scarecrow this year.  She kinda got bummed out when they didn't do the contest last year, having designed Kevin the year before.  She was doing a vampire fairy scarecrow (completed with the fairy king sucked dry) out of a barbie before they cancelled the contest last year.

One of the primary reasons I quit posting a lot of in progress stuff other places as they'd make quick and cheap knockoffs of the idea and then accuse me of copying. 

a few times they straight out copied my tutorials and tried to sell them. 

Though, my calling them out on that is a big reason they tanked the last few years.
