Valentines is big business here, and elementary school is a big reason why.  Kids are expected to bring a card (and typically a treat comes with) for everyone in the class.

I definitely need a better name than 'Pithenge' though.  Especially since I'm not building a henge at all.  (though maybe I am, people seem to define it differently, with some dictionaries claiming it refers to the upright stones, and others referring to the dirt mounds.  I tend to side with the mounds definition myself)

Did you really make a comment about the weight of my 10 year old? Her weight is perfect, according to her doctor, so shut the hell up. She is still a child, is growing, and no child should ever hear comments like that from an adult.

So, we started the circle project as there's been NO SNOW this winter, and there was nothing on the long range forecast.  The day after we put those 4 stones up, It snowed.  And it keeps coming.   

Even yesterday, many weather reports had NOTHING on forecast for today.  Probably the biggest storm this winter so far. 

Coincidence? 

(I will note there's one forecast that I use that's been correct on all the storms so far within the five day.  All the others seem to just copy the national weather service.  I see now it's predicting snow all week, while the others only list Monday.)
