Why did this come up?

Because my supervisor and I now share an office, and he's uncomfortable with people thinking HE associates with a gay man. 

So, do I start bringing in lace decorations or what?

So, I added a cutesy "The Witch is In" decoration to the office, one of the ladies here gave me a cute kitty calendar, and I've got pink and purple markers for the whiteboard. 

The supervisor and his friends (like I swear the whole backwoods town he lives in works here) discuss how inappropriate it is at least once a day.  (in 'private', not to my face, not that this area is private at all)

Don't rightly know. 

We worked outside in the yard Saturday.  I had a rash with some blistering that night, and took benedryl, since ragweed can do that to me, then went to bed. 

Sunday morning it was all red and hot and squishy.  They've got me on medicine and the swelling was mostly down yesterday afternoon.  I got some errands run, but it kept me up last night with a maddening itch, and got a little swollen again in the night.  Moved to the couch to elevate it better, and it was down again this morning.  I'm at work today, see how it handles that.

Neighbor stopped by. 

His brother is getting married and wanted to know if they could borrow one of my things for the wedding. 



Specifically asking how I had managed to get the 'hearts' in there at Christmas.



Another instance of the things I tend to think of as silly/joke/last minute filler stuff being what the general public tends to latch on to.

Yep.

"I saw you pulling out over there by the Chevron.  Did you know there's this weird Halloween guy over there.  They have like a million pumpkins.  Last year they were renovating this house, and had the whole back yard done up with this wood path.  Strangest costume I've ever seen out front talking to the kids, I've never seen anything like it.  You should go check it out, it's not like the boring store halloween."
