Yes, the campus is 7 years old, the haunted building is just 2 years old and surged on 7/5/2017 initially.  Again on 7/29/2017. 

The FUN part is building 1581 hasn't even been completed yet, and has suffered both these surges as well.  I'm glad we will not be tenants over there.

Test concept for attaching the wing frames.  I need this to be move-able in pieces.





Concept was modeled on the tendon a bird's wing naturally has in roughly this location.  I'm not sure it works for my plans though.  Other options include a smaller rope off the first 'joint' in the wings, would go arcross the back and thus prevent them from rolling, which is the problem.  If that fails, there's always a pin possibility. 

I need to locate a lot more 'ugly branches' to cover the frame and make disjointed 'featerish' shapes on the wings.

Get a call from the ring master's assistant:  "Meet me in the theater at (insert time I'm supposed to leave) to show me how to operate the things behind the curtain."

"Nope, you'll have to wing it, that's why he wants you, no one else dares."

The Ringmaster has my respect.  I wouldn't attend as a participant, but if he needs me to run it, that's another story.

Plus he's actually asking me to play the villain in this particular instance, which is hard for me to turn down.

Haven't spoken much about the garden this year. 

We planted exclusively Cheyenne bush pumpkins this year, however one volunteer vine somehow escaped the purge as well.  Don't know what that means for saving seeds...

Anyhow, the cheyenne bush pumpkins are rather interesting.  I waited 3 weeks later than normal to plant them as they are extremely quick growers.  I probably could have waited another month. 

Plants look more like Zuccnini.



Even when the first pumpkins set, they looked a lot like zucchini.  AND, more importantly, they set in the middle of a 100 degree wave.  Something I haven't seen other varieties do. 



Looks like the plants that set 2 pumpkins favor one of the 2.  However, it doesn't appear to have aborted the second like other pumpkins do, either. 



Sorghum is promising.
