While back, Google integrated Picasa Web albums with Google+.   

I didn't "upgrade" because I really didn't want to, so I've been using a work around to still use the old picasa. 

Editted some pics last night, went to upload this morning and it looks like they've shut down the work around.  Whatever, go ahead an join stupid google + just to use picasa, since my blog is site integrated with picasa already.  Well, it's all fubarred.  I can't seem to share new things uploaded to google+ quite the same, and everything new I'm uploading is automatically reprocessed and "enhanced" as part of the upload.  This turns the pics into crap to begin with.  I can turn it off, but only per individual upload.  I already run my RAW files through Photoshop to get them how I want, now this is fubarring my pics all to hell, AND I can't share them outside google+ 

Just [poop].  Looking for a plugin for my website to host my own damn albums.

You could make an album here, but of course Firefox dislikes SMF for some reason, so that'd be problematic for some users...

Yeah, I guess there's no real profit from hosting linked pictures, just a bandwidth burden.  Thanks for the consideration - also, there's still the Firefox display problem we've never been able to run down.

You use PhotoShop, yes?  There's a text function that lets you add text as empty Select outlines of the letters - use that to lighten/reduce contrast on the image in the shape of some Uno logo...

I'm more wanting something I can just copy/paste on repeatedly, not a process for every pic.

I'd need a working copy of Shoop to be more specific, but:  Make a simple white logo on a black background>add a transparent background and delete the white part>save as a .png>when you want to watermark, paste in the corner of the picture you want to watermark into the logo file as a layer underneath> flatten image>lower contrast about 15%, and up the brightness 15-30% according to taste>delete the solid logo background and paste the result back into the image in the same spot you selected.

-Sounds complex, but would take seconds to do once you get used to it.  When M gets home from work, I'll ask her to look in there and talk about whether there's a simpler way to do it with an automatic function.  She knows a lot more than I about exotic shoop functions...

For easy alignment purposes, leave yourself a little margin in the transparent logo file and match up the edges of the paste-ins with the files both ways when you paste.

I'm looking for the packaging for the CD so I can reactivate my copy of PhotoShop CS and be more help...

Found a plugin that says it'll do watermarks right in the site control panel...guess it's the first one to try.
