Some of the Miriams are linked from there - they claim it's a mistake by Google about the malware, but, very typically, aren't settin any speed records fixing the problem...   Even if true, I rather doubt some linked pictures are going to infect anyone.

I saw your Miriamods a while back and had no problem with them. I think Firaxis' design dept had a lot of genuine fun pillorying ALL of the original seven from a point of view of their ideologies. Basically saying that whatever turns you on ideologically, it is always subject to the human condition - and that ain't pretty.

Gaians - Pacifist? Hell no! AI Deirdre is one of the biggest users of PBs, (good green credentials there then...)
University - Nice of Firaxis to include a science fac "Dreaming up new ways to exterminate our species" (puts science in a splendid ethical dilemma when the leader is a nutter)
Hive/Labyrinth - What's not to like about Despotic Tyranny? Not to mention having a poke at populous Asian nations. (In a recent SP game Yang nuked me twice, no reason, He's just drawn that way.
Morgan - Well here Firaxis excelled themselves, the super-duper Capitalist Tycoon is a 'Gentleman of Colour'. Hmm, less of the Gentleman too.
Spartan - How many times have we seen an early rush with a couple of scout rovers? Survivalists are nice people - not. I find she's the ugliest of the female facs too, painted psychotic.
Peacekeepers - Yeah, Firaxis love the UN - so much so that they give the leader a face assembled by shotgun (more likely, by committee, compounding the nuances)
Believers - "I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way" The 'joke' being that a 'Christian' theology made it to Chiron - the non-runners got nuked as a consolation prize.

In game of course, they're all duplicitous slimeballs, every one.
All the artwork has infradig values/vectors.

We're not talking terribly symetrical features, no, but I venture that fat, piggy-eyed and with an orange haystack on her head trumps everything.

I had to write a love scene between Miriam and Cha once.  I found it a creative challenge, decidedly.

At any rate, I've posted the story here.  Larrin made a Believe/Planet Cult cross faction for a GotM, and I had to write an intro to justify it; I struggled and agonized over it like no tomorrow, being a bit blocked at the time, but after all this time, I'm fairly proud of the result.
