It's only recently that I noticed the inconspicuous "Attack my enemy" option in the diplo screen ( :doh). So I run a test in a hotseat game and noticed that when one human faction asks another human faction to "attack my enemy" and this is agreed, it is the asker, and not the requested one, who gets the Vendetta. Can someone verify this with their copy, please? I want to know for sure. It's only a minute - just start a hotseat game, choose 3 human factions and ask "attack my enemy" (they have contact with each other from turn 1, so you don't even need to play).

With which version did you test? Scient, Yitzi, gog, vanilla?

Why do you insist that the human genetic code is 'sacred' or 'taboo'? It is a chemical process and nothing more. For that matter -we- are chemical processes and nothing more. If you deny yourself a useful tool simply because it reminds you uncomfortably of your mortality, you have uselessly and pointlessly crippled yourself.
