Minerals from forest chops...
« on: August 15, 2013, 09:06:04 pm »
Where should they go after a forest is chopped? The closest base, or to the homebase of the former which made the last cut so to speak?
Just wondering because I chopped a forest with a stack of formers (three different home bases), and the minerals went to the farthest base I have.

I actually know this one!

It depends - if the last former that finally completes the harvesting is independent, the 5 mins go to the nearest base.  Otherwise, it goes to the base that supports the former that finished the job.  This is even true if you've used the 'support from pact-mate's base' exploit - that base gets the mins (and it never cost them actual support in the first place).  This is true even using clean reactors.

It is altogether fitting that we who have sailed the deeps of space now return again to the sea. This is in many ways a water planet, and it can be ruled from the waves. With sea power, rugged terrain can be bypassed and enemy strongholds isolated. Once naval superiority is achieved, Planet is ours for the taking.
