Green 1's DnD maps
« on: June 29, 2025, 12:29:20 am »
This is my take on the Archmage Dungeon from Dungeon Magazine #10 (1988)'s Threshold of Evil. It's about an archmage who has been getting isolated and turning evil hiding in a hidden fortress in a mountain surrounded by a magic winter hurricane. 100x100 71px (so as not to crash people on craptops.)

Program is Dungeon Alchemist, Platform R20.

Because of limitations on he software, I was not able to make the hexagonal rooms spreading out circular. When, oh when are darn VTT map makers going to learn basic CAD things people need. Of course, they will say "it's in beta"...

I also did not work too much on doo dads since this is an in person one shot.

This is a rendition of the Parrot Island Catacombs from Dungeon Magazine #139 (2006)'s "There is no Honor" which was part of Paizo's Savage Tide Adventure path. Paizo (creators of Pathfinder) made a few adventure paths back in the day before 4th edition came out and Wizards of the Coast ended their contract.

Program is Dungeon Painter Studio 1, platform R20. 80x21 70 px.

I have put original 2000's ea pdf with the DPS output for comparison.

We have reached an informational threshold which can only be crossed by harnessing the speed of light directly. The quickest computations require the fasted possible particles moving along the shortest paths. Since the capability now exists to take our information directly from photons traveling molecular paths, the final act of the information revolution will soon be upon us.
