Don't know what could make anyone think that. 

But, it's more the playstyle of free builders and boosts to military and happiness so I don't have to be as bothered by some of the crap I don't tend to like. 

IIRC, Civ III Mayans had the free (chance of) slave on military victory mechanic too.  Loved it then.

 Slaves...  and possible MP expoit...

Builder is 35 production, Scouts are 20 and Slingers are 25.  Build a bunch of scouts, have the aztec player capture and then gift them back to you.  You get A builder for cheep and the Aztec also gets Unit ExP, too...

Would a a great Mercenary thing to do...

I'm sure there will be mechanics in place to avoid that being a problem.
