Deserters
« on: March 02, 2016, 08:56:43 am »
Hi, fellow SMACers!

I play Scient's version of SMAX with some hand-made alphax.txt modification. Nearly every game I see the same picture: I capture someone's sea units with my Marine Detachments, and the captured units disappear after seemingly random number of turns. Do you experience this too? If yes, does anybody know if this is a bug or feature? And if it is a feature, what rules apply? I seldom capture enemy units with my probe teams, so it is interesting if they can desert too?

Sorry if this topic was already discussed and explained.

At atrociously high energy states, the properties of matter change subtly and new miracles become possible. The Plasma Accretion process is now dangerous and difficult to control, but its products will soon become commonplace in our society.
