It's National Coffee Day!

Thats fairly redundant lolz. Every day is national coffee day in the USA.
We couldn't last 36 hours without coffee in this country. I know people that
cant go four hours without coffee and I'm getting there myself. Even more amusing
I work in a coffee shop.

Well, iced coffee is not too hot clearly but still too bitter (and, from my understanding, an inferior blend). Unless you put stuff in it and then soon you have a coffee based dessert. Which is not really coffee. So all of it.

Coffee is no different than beer in being an acquired taste many people acquire.  I take mine pretty heavily creamed and sugared - or did; I had to suffer for quite a while while my tastes adjusted to a small fraction as sweet after the diabeetus came on.

Alcohol has a particular nastiness that overwhelms any ability I have to differentiate it's various forms. Beer/champagne = carbonated nasty. Vodka/whiskey/bourbon = non-carbonated nasty. Not sure about wine, haven't wasted enough of it to learn any differences.

Of course, it's merely possible that both the alcohol and coffee have been cheap stuff but I've seen no reason to dabble in anything more expensive.

I had no idea.
As it happens, I had a Spanish Coffee at dinner tonight-
Coffee laced with 2 kinds of rum and topped with whipped cream.

Love the smell of coffee. Can't stand the taste. Used to work in a coffee shop, so whatever it is, I've tried it.

I'm a night baker in a coffee and donut shop. I've been doing it for
something like 20 years. We tend to be a little eccentric. Coffee is nice but I'm particular about what I drink.

I like beer. I only brink imported European beer unless I have no choice.

Depends on the alcohol. Wine smells nice but tastes vile.
