So, now 16 days out, those storms keep slipping left, Monday and Thursday.  Here's hoping the trend continues.  Possibly *cold* for the party though.

the phone's camera definitely green shifted that pic...the one moss is much more reddish brown.

Most likely you were using artificial light with not enough blue to it.  Our brains can "recolor" things in a situation like that, but the camera never lies
Try using indirect daylight (but not a cloudy day...clouds subtract the blue also), or a more full-spectrum light bulb.

Not entirely true in the digital age.  The processor methods vary from camera to camera, and produce different results under the same condition.  I'm quite positive Vera wouldn't have had the same problem.

So, drove by the scarecrows last night.  Father and 2 others were still standing, the rest had various amounts of wind damage (a couple near total losses).  Been raining since, not gonna effect Father. 

Our cat's come up lame, which is going to make a crappy day tomorrow. 

T minus 5 days to vacation.  Other than my costume clothing (which I could get by in a pinch on existing material), we're in the best prepared state I've ever been in.  Still nothing up, and neighbors asking what's going on.  I really need to troll everyone by getting something uber cute one year.
