I don't like morbid, creepy, stuff one whit more than I ever did, but you've put some thick callus for it on my mind's eye - I look at that video and hear a well-sung arrangement of an old ballad with effectively-done exaggerated funereal/death visuals and enjoy and admire the craft of it, barely even noticing the morbid/creepy, let alone being put off by it.

You'd be shocked at some of the stuff I'm numb to. 

I watched that as more a technical aspect.  I'm wondering how they managed the fog coming out her dress.  The fog screen (they overused, by the way) is old hat/news, but barring buried chords (possible, admittedly) I'm not aware of a chordless fog machine that would put out that much.  Then again, it was limited enough in scope it COULD have been some consumable stage magical supply stuff.

About the masks, selling of - she's up to her ears in tarting up dolls for RL sale at a show, and we agree that it's too late for requests before Halloween or any new stuff w/ snail mail involved, but she's enthusiastically on the bus about exchanging what's on-hand, finished, for American earth dollars -we've got photos of our work to keep, after all.

Mylochka thinks it best to just ask a flat $25 dollars apiece, and take payment through PayPal - I assume that covers shipping and handling; the masks don't weigh much.

There's a few in the thread unfinished, of course, a few only ready to paint - we'll offer those, too, for $15 if anyone wants to paint their own ape-face or whatever.

Merely link the thread, do something more elaborate - whatever you think best, given your time and effort and all - and pick out another one for yourself, gratis, as a payback token.  -Or a custom request, if you'd rather wait forever for us to get around to it.  Seriously.

Be careful of the WPC-linked pics, of course; most are still around -we've given a handful of masks away, and most of the  masks from any of her shows pictured are in a closet at the University of North Texas, Denton- but the shots I attached lately we're sure of.

I can post links and whatnot, especially with prices.  Can't give you a timeframe, but I'll try to get it this week assuming the home laptop keeps chugging.  It's gonna die on me some day sooner rather than later.  Just knowing the folks over there, they would be a lot more likely to throw money if there was someone to answer questions over there. 

As for me, I'm going to wait till we figure out what we're doing with the house.  We are likely either expanding or moving in the next year or 2, and I'm hoping a proper shop is part of that.

A Christina Ricci as Morticia shot going around that you probably saw forever ago and a rather obvious shoop, too, if you ask me - but just in case, and because it makes me want to see her actually play Morticia.  -And not just a little bit.



I don't think we ever talked about the movies - I think they were win, and rather polished the turd of a TV show without distancing themselves - and little miss Ricci quite nearly out-charisma'd Raul Julia, which wasn't possible to actually do, but touching him at all is deeply impressive.

Can't say I particularly care for slutting Morticia up like that, but Mom made sure I don't see that kind of thing like most people men do.  She was always sexy, so I get WHY the low cut, just think she should be above that.  It's Morticia, not Elvira.

At least if the cost of the addition does not exceed the value added or extra mortage that you would have to pay at a new house. In addition, it could help to consider whether or not later on you want to maintain a larger house.
