Found some kind of fly or maybe wasp that is able to change it's color.  Landed on my shirt, it was bright green, and changed to red as my son tried to get it off.  Then it crawled down onto my arm where it quickly changed fleshy colored.  Totally boggled, the locals don't care about bugs, and there are no field guides to the unique ecology of insects in the thermal areas here.

Think I've narrowed it down to a group of flies (dobsonfly relative) but no luck on species.
