It reminds me of an Iron Druid short story "The Demon Barker of Wheat Street", which appeared in a collection called CarniePunk.

In it the Demon Barker ( who was magically disguised )was drawing people into a sideshow. Within the tent there was a sign at one point "Choose heaven or hell" and the paths diverged. Strangely, the hell side descended on a long stairway underground...

typically when you do that in a haunt, both end up in hell at the end...

Ooo, nice mummy pics. 

I really nailed the arms, thighs, and pelvic area on Trevor.  Should have gone more skeletal on the calf area.  My source material at the time messed that up as well, though. 


The chest and head were meant to be more artistic interpretation from the get go. 


One day, I'm doing a version of this though.  Mark my words. 



I'm not there, yet.  Maybe time to do another corpse next year as practice...
