Hmmm.  It looks better in a dark theme - I was thinking of your web page, of course.  I think it might work better running faster, for one thing, and smaller, maybe.  Animated .gifs insist on having the colors indexed, which means opacity is 100% or nothin', which is bad for handling fog effects.

small preview.  Will get better pics tomorrow.





Loving the vague shadow of Jim at the end of the corn tunnel.  New neighbors stopped tonight as I was out doing the lighting test.  8 year old boy stops dead at the gate, looks at Jim and turns back.  6 year old girl happily heads down the tunnel...right up till Jim turns on, then flees back out of the tunnel.  Definite hit with the first 2 to see him in action.

Unknown teenagers come by on bikes while we were cleaning pumpkins  (I had my boys and a small army of 5 teens from the hood helping and they didn't know them either).
 
They both stop at the end of the yard and stare down the corn tunnel at Jim. 

"what's that?"

"I don't know, let's go back there and look."

Look over at us cleaning.  Look back down the tunnel.  Look around, touch a bone. 

"Holy *&%# those are REAL." 

look back at us cleaning.  None of us say anything, just keep cleaning. 

"I've heard this guy has real skulls he keeps in his shed too." 

Silence...

"You go back there"

"I'm not going alone, come with" 

"No way, he's watching" 

They look at me, I give them THE LOOK, they swiftly ride away again.

Yeah, I think Jim's going to be JUST fine this year.

I'm not totally clear on this. Did these boys walk on your yard to have a closer look at 'Jim' while you were watching them?
Or were there bones close to the street walkway?
