Got one from a fresh food stand years ago in California, and have not eaten another type of apple since.  They can be difficult to find on occasion, but the boss found some in Costco of all places.

So, both the TV shows that asked me to be on were on TV last night.  The first was just a dumb halloween episode of a trivia show.  Meh.  The second, however, the ""HOUSE"" competition...

If this was supposed to be about families' and how they do their house...why were 4/6 of the "houses" they showed professional haunts?  Gee, you mean one of the biggest professional haunts in the nation wins this supposedly family build competition?  I'm shocked.  Oi.

Was at the family pumpkin carve last night as briefly as I could politely be. 

Anyway, we always bring the pumpkins I've put the kids' names on.

Niece: "How did you do the names?"

"The Great Pumpkin did it."

"Who the hell is the Great Pumpkin?"

Oh, ye local church seems to have launched a double edged assault on my carving party this year.  They've announced separate activities for both adults and kids just this last week.
