"No, scarecrows don't work very good to scare the birds, we need to put Fred in one of those scary coats, and put his arm out like this, and put a hat on him, then the birds will nibble on Fred and not the corn, but they can't get to all of Fred because the coat is there so they can't get all fulled up and will keep nibbling on Fred." 

"Maybe that will scare the new little neighbors, honey." 

"Oh, that's just silly, I'll tell them to come say hi to Fred and they wont be scared." 

Guess I have a project for tonight. Woe be upon the neighbors.

I've got a whole rant buildup of the last 6 days I might get around to if I ever get some time...

You might have already guessed, it's not every day I have the patience to sit down and hotglue hundreds of strings to a skull...that kind of project is reserved for SPECIAL occasions...this being only the second one I've created.  Oh, but this one was even a full on original sculpture prior to getting the string treatment.  Yeah, you know I'm in a good mood when that happens.  Not to mention those annoying as hell pumpkins in the background I had been avoiding the tedium of for just such a mood....at least I'm getting things done again.  Gotta love the 4th, family and all. 

For now...I've been off since last teusday...morons in my absence contacted IT with no clue, and now have royally fubarred one of the main programs I use.  My "it can wait til I get back monday" was apparantly insufficient even though it's a bigger mess now.

Email from IT:  "If we had a good record to begin with we would have been doing the same steps Uno tried to do, now we're not sure how to fix it" 

Yeah...good times. 

(this company, 3rd party program, has tried to hire me a couple times as I can typically run circles around their own IT folks, and write more bug reports than anyone in it's history.  I just can't afford to move to cali. )
