So, the snow we were supposed to be getting has come in as rain, with temps 10 degrees higher than anticipated.

If the forecast holds, we wont be below freezing again through the weekend. I actually got some mud made in celebration as this means I can actually get some monster mud up on the Barghest.

Structural fit test just prior to soldering and wiring the Chimera's lighting.

Ran into a small problem in the new adhesive I'm trying out isn't holding up as well as hoped, so some separation happened between the clay and the plaster wrap at the neck. This was planned to be reinforced by monster mud later anyway, but disappointing none the less. Probably going to have to think of a backup adhesive.

All wired and soldered and set, I know why I'm doubling the lighting in the chest of a chimera for the first time, but boy it looks BRIGHT at the moment. All part of the plan, but just hoping it works out as intended.

First I've heard of it.

Really not much of a TV person. I think the only thing I watch regularly is "Face Off".

edit: Looked it up, the director is not exactly exciting me.

I'm more of a hulu/netflix guy myself. The tv spot made it sound like a ripoff of the following.

Um, subtle differences.

I have no doubt the Following took some inspiration from Hannibal Lecter, so there were bound to be some similarities. But, Hannibal is as much an asset to the cops as he is a threat. The following dude is no asset. I've read the books, seen plenty of movies pull this thing, I just don't know how well a network TV series can take the character. Plus you have some great performances from the movies that would need be overcome to make the character memorable on the series.

There's potential in the concept, sure, I'm just not excited by the writing, directing, or casting at the moment.

Sounds like my kind of art contest. Where is it? Would love to see the whole contest.

I've never been one who could relate to the whole clown phobia. However, I have studied it extensively, as I've done 3 separate professional gigs with the funhouse/clown theme.

It's an interesting alley you've assembled here, were you looking for a critique?
