I will say I got a slightly different story from the Bishop. 

See mom had episodes, and it was always the bad episodes the "I should have killed you" would come out. 

I had also been stricken with a wtf is that disease.  As in an it was on House wtf disease.  I was one of the first reported cures of the particular complication.  Henoch-schonlein purpura which attacked my heart.  I think I'm the '85-'86ish published case study if you can find it.  I looked it up once upon a time. 

The Bishop claims it was not a murder me so much as to make sure they spill my blood when I die so I could go to heaven. 

However, Mom always relayed it to me as shoulda murdered me, which means she was thinking it.     

Though resent interactions reveal that may have just been a controlling narrative from mom too.  She's a piece of work.

Ok, I should have pics back. 

The process here really started years ago with the coconut in the lawn, but we composted the lawn starting last July, and it had a tarp through the winter (water could get in).  This here is just after hiring a farmer to come till it with his tractor and me marking out the plan. 



This is the things that were PLANNED.  Catmint along the edges as a border I've been breeding for 3 years, splitting and making more.  Here just after splitting and looking like hell. 

The raven grass I've been breeding for 15 years, and it will serve as the main backdrop for Halloween, so more along the circle and feathered into the background to make a 'field' appearance.  There's also ice plant that will work as a lawn alternative to fill in the gaps and I'll mix in other things under and between it as well go, but this was the budget this year plant wise.  This is all once a week watering in the future.



Thrown in to all the dirt in the unplanned space was every unused seed I had that I hadn't used over the years (pumpkins, poppies, beans, and sunflowers), a wildflower seed bag, and I let ALL the pumpkin volunteers have at it. 

Here we are at more or less present with the stones.  I'm off next week to finish/mostly finish.

I've alerted Mylochka.  You'll recall from the ivy gate project -that I hardly did w/o her consent- that her landscaping tastes are not entirely conventional.  You two will have plenty to discuss, she having done some things on similar lines here in America, especially in the back yard I've never pictured...

That pallet structure in the back is an attempt at a gourd arch.  I'm happy to say I've produced a few gourds for the first time in like 10 attempts, but it's not filled in like I hoped with the 10 mini gourds I planted around it, only 4 are vining up it like I hoped.
