what would make you think he'd be my favorite.  I'm reasonably sure he was in the old legion of doom stuff because whatever reason yellow is the opposite of green or something. 

Lantern is ESPECIALLY not in my interest with DC.  More than most.

There's the name, and also a superficial resemblance to Mr. Sinister, also not the most masculine villain ever, and Megamind w/ the headshape, see also previous remark.

You can hardly access the quality of ANY character from Superfriends.

I think you're over estimating my fondness of Mr Sinister. 

I'm curious if they thought it through far enough to have sinestro use his left hand consistently though.

One of the lessons that got me kicked out of sunday school was related.

It's a simple and famous (in LDS) object lesson:

Send one kid to the hall, the other kids rearrange the chairs to a maze.  Blindfold hall kid and he has to ask guidance of one of two sources, one playing Jesus, and one playing Satan to make it through the maze.  Satan's job is obviously to make him trip on the chairs, and he figures out which is which through trial and error.  Jesus leads him through the maze to put a mark inside a circle on the chalk board to indicate he made it to heaven. 

~8 year old me thought this was dumb.  My turn to be Satan guided the kid straight through the maze (to the confusion of the other kids and teacher) and marked as far from heaven as possible on the board.  There were tears and banishment ensued. 


Fast forward many years to when they asked me to TEACH the kids.  I modified this lesson.  ALL the kids were providing directions at once guiding the blindfolded participant in all directions.  They had to listen for the gentle guiding voice which is what they teach 'the holy spirit' is.  To my mild disappointment non of the multitude thought to remain quiet and lead them well astray.
