So, the original plan was for them to be married in December.  So, when I went and registered in November, they did require proof of ordination, but not specifically the letter of good standing. 

The online ordination, yes, gave me a minister card id, and certificate and letter, but actual useful things I WANTED:  pre-printed copies of the marriage license to file with the county.  Fancy marriage license with gold seals and whatnot in a diploma holder booklet thing.  I considered those worth the fee, and more than other sham ordinations were offering.

Now, since they didn't get married til February, Utah and/or the county changed the laws (I'm a little confused where that's controlled, since i'd have to register in whatever county a marriage takes place in), and if I'd have waited til January to get registered, I wouldn't have needed anything to register for just doing my son's wedding.  Only need the other stuff if you plan on doing more than one now.  My SIL did my nephew's wedding in march/aprilish that year and only had to go register as the one time use only registration, not get added to the county list of officiates, then had a print shop do the certificates. 

edit:  if it is county controlled, I'd guess happy valley would still require ordination.

I could do something more decorative -this ain't a big job- but my own druthers/instinct is legible über allies.

The top one in winter, the second one during Halloween season, the full green on during Summer, and the green outlined one during Spring.

Cute.

I checked in a couple dark themes and found all way more legible against a dark background.  3 is actually the worst for that, and about the lower limit for legibility in the default theme -the one used the most by a lot- but closest to the style of the blog/website, which matters...
