Speaking of Church invoked haunted houses, got my annual rejection letter from the baptist church doing the Christmas haunted house, aka Journey to Bethlehem.  (first google link, not the local one) http://www.journeytobethlehem.org/

As always, this heathen has some suggestions how to improve the local one (still AWFUL lighting!  come on!), and my offer is always rejected, but they usually impliment the advise I give to some degree anyway.   

Might get up the urge to compete again this year.  It was a hilarious time last year, and we raised some good stuff for charity, but management has changed since last year...

Ya know, I love my webhost 11 months out of the year, but their billing sure doesn't fit my lifestyle.  I really don't WANT autopay, thank you.  Let me just get on the billing center and paypal it when I want, I don't care if it's not due till Jan, I want to just pay it now rather than wait for the autobill cycle.

That doesn't seem like good accounting, if they're not able to cope with customers wanting to pay early according to their cash flow situtation - or for any reason.  Early capital is early, and there's no downside to getting paid early.

Surely they're not like an individual who'd just blow the money...

See I'm signed up for auto renew just in case I forget, my paypal will deduct from a CC if by some miracle there's nothing in my account.  But, auto renew removes the manual button from their billing center.  It's just a silly design.

It's probably an even more damning sign that theirs was shot in a reasonable temperature where my video was ambient 36 degrees outside.  "hot air rises" is a lot easier to overcome at 60 degrees outside...
