Het is a freaking wreck.

Be strong and it's o.k. to allow yourself to fall apart, at times, how else you going to clense that from your system....

Het is a freaking wreck.

hEt's entire world has been upended.  Losing her parents, trying to figure out new dynamic with siblings, and a husband that can't let her deal with that before tearing the house in twain while STILL plopping Halloween all over on top of it.

It really is just trying to find a new normal, but I don't even know where to look. Plus, the situation with UnO's brothers is fraught with complications, especially if this cancer has metastasized. UnO's the rock, and I'm hanging on for dear life, praying the waves don't drown me.

So, basically, my reviews of a fair few lights caught their attention and they want to get this product out there.

Oh, this is mightily tempting.

Uses triple A batteries, SO MUCH EASIER to replace than my present lights that use CR2032.
REMOTE CONTROLLED, just leave in the pumpkins walk around and click on the second day?  *drool*

200 minimum order is a real kink in the system though.  That puts it at $300 for a lifetime buy of lights.  Not a terrible deal, really, but not something I really have handy with everything going on this year.

Took a look at their web page.

Interesting product.  The remote controls how many lights?  As if they are on the same frequency, one remote for all of them is... good and bad at the same time.  If it is 5-6 different remotes... that can get real clunky.  It looks like they have separate on and off, so shouldn't end up turning half off and half on at the same time.  A good thing.

If they have selectable frequency (inside by the battery, say) than that would end up being real nice.  Think garage door remotes - you only have 3 frequencies here in the US (IIRC, could be wrong, been a long time since I looked it up and am too lazy to do so now), but each house has its own code that the remote sends the base unit - once it gets that code it activates.  Could be easy to do with these light I would think, and it would explain their relatively high price.

With the # of LED lights on it, I would expect it to get rather bright.  Surprised they went with 3xAAA instead of 1x9v.  Either way, easy of replacement should be nice, and the cost can be reasonable in terms of batteries.

If I were you, I would sent them an email back saying if they want a public review, they can send you a complimentary set of 4 (1 box).  Doesn't hurt to ask, as all they are really doing is giving you a box for you to write a couple paragraphs.  I have seen it done quite a bit on Amazon over the past couple of years "This product received as a promotion in return for my honest review."

Yeah, I've gotten a freebie sample for review before as well.  (after I ridiculed product A, no less, they sent me product B)  But $4.3 isn't bad for a test unit, and then I won't be biased.  The 4 pack comes with 2 remotes, so it implies there would be some kind of selectable switch but I've seen other color changing led remote things where one remote controls everything of the same brand.

Rechargeable AAA batteries are likely cheaper overall than 9v batteries...

Get enough recharges and batteries to have one set charging and another set in use...  plus a few spares...

Now, if the color, brightness as well as power on are also done via the remote, could rebuild it to operate off a programmed system tor varying due to a lot of things...  the possibilities boggle...

No reason to have a set charging.  Assuming the burn time is good.

I want to go on the record that I don't believe in woods clowns - somebody's viral-marketing a horror movie or something...

I've seen some of those stories.

I don't think it's a marketing.  Because it's been going on around the world for a few years.  Not woods, mind, but clowns randomly being creepy just to be creepy.  Dark Alleys, random street corners, parking garages, etc.  I think the woods element stems from last year's American Horror Story season.  The more it makes the news, the more copycats you're gonna get.

It's the new slender man.  And yes, just like that, someone is going to be messed up enough in the head to take it serious.

Mankind has been blind for thousands of years?for all of its history. We have come to a place whose wonders are a hundred-fold more amazing than anything on Earth. Around us is clear evidence of the will of a higher power. I bring the Vision to the blind eyes of men. I bring the Word to the deaf ears of men. I will make them see it. I will make them hear it.
