I'd seen posters, first time I've seen the trailer.  Get Out made this guy a name, but it was REALLY so heavily influenced by the Stepford Wives, it was nearly a pure remake.  This looks like he's doing the same thing with The Strangers.  Even the name Us looks like a tongue in cheek shout out to it. 

But I admit I'm more looking forward to seeing what he does with the twilight zone reboot.

Well, it's not a full shutdown, only 'partial', so the military arms aren't impacted as yet. 

And once the military starts feeling it, there's several layers before it would hit me personally.  So, it all depends on how much of a game these jokers are willing to play.

Downslope eastern winds again tonight. 

For those playing at home, this is the type of storm that tore our roof apart a few years back, and has regularly ripped up trees.  Tonight's advisory claims 50 MPH sustained with 80 MPH gusts expected. 

To add to the fun, it's about 20 degrees and the wind chill is sub zero (can't bother to translate to non-american)

Ed is the only standing decor left, but he's just a skeletal frame in the off season, purposely built that way. 

It wasn't near as bad as they were predicting, though.  Bitter cold, but not damaging winds.
