Last night was OK.  Benedryl + Ibuprofen gives me that zombie sleepish state with the early morning haze.  It doesn't work on the allergies quite as well, though, so having nasal problems and waking with sore throat again.  Going to try the Claritin solo to make sure it wasn't some weird combo with the Aleve.  (I actually take the generics, but can spell the name brands) 

I think I tracked down what's been flaring up my arm.  Work switched soaps.  I'm betting it has some kind of evil scent/moisturizer I'm allergic to.  Don't know how to go about FIXING the problem right off.  Bringing my own is cumbersome at best.  But it get's worse over the coarse of the day and better at home.  Gotta be something here.

Stressing over the bank stuff doesn't help the allergy issues either. 


There's a distinct possibility the bank is just not as polite as quicken, that they have the appraisal, and just haven't bothered to share it with us as well.  I'm more stressed over a perceived delay than whatever the actual numbers are going to be.

Is/was church a trial because of people's perfume?  I totally get the headaches and such from that - too much/too fresh cleaning chemical smells/masking perfumes, too - I'd rather smell a hospital's natural stench than faintly under the oppressive chemical smells.

Gets -literally- right up my nose, it does.



I also have trouble not losing it when I think I'm being treated like my time doesn't matter.  Conducting medical business is hell for me, not because of discomfort and pain.

I'm remembering how strange Quicken loans first felt, that an online loan place would be completely personable where the local bank treats you like an ATM.  I'm thinking we got a little of that going on here again, despite the local bank now having some of the façade of pieces that made Quicken easier. 

It's not smells that get me.  We discovered during my big layoff that certain moisturizers and scents, then in Talia's conditioner, are pretty much death to my skin.  Stress aggravates histamine response, it's long be known.  So, if the soap here at work is using corn silk extract, some sunflower extract, or anything melon related, (all of which are related to ragweed) it's just going to eat my arm away.

Well, I'm not allergic to God, but his church people wear obnoxious amounts of perfume, vanity of vanities.  -They'd offend my senses less coving themselves with dust and mold - probably Protestant God, too.

The women are most usual, and usually worse, but a lot of the men do bathe in the cologne on Sunday mornings, yes.

I have issues in my travels with my forearms, whenever I use public bathrooms day after day. I don't know if it's the dyes, or scents, or anti-bacterials, and probably never will because they don't label the ingredients on the dispensers, but it's a regular occurrence for me on east coast road trips and sometimes at Disney. Fortunately there the hotel toiletries are high quality, so I can wash whatever it is off.

But using washrooms and hotels along the interstate, it doesn't work so well. If I can remember to pay attention, I may be able to identify which color of liquid soap is the issue.

OR maybe I should just start carrying a little thing of alcohol gel stuff on my belt or keychain on those trips.

As for the scent thing, I read a newspaper article years ago that explained that often, those over-users become desensitized to their favorite fragrance, causing them to re-apply during the day also.
They have no idea how strong they are.

And the guy who lives at the dump doesn't smell it unless it's extra-bad.  I don't care; I can't fix the way church people are, and it's a reason to stay away.

99% of hand wash soaps are totally evil on humans.  All sorts of dermatitis issues related directly to hand soaps.  Read the MSDS sheets on these things and your skin will crawl from the amount of toxic chemicals in them.

We use natural bar soaps at home, but it's hard when you go out somewhere.  Like playing Russian Roulette.

I actually use Dawn dish soap at home when washing my hands. 

It's some purple scented thing they switched to here.  I've been told it's a mis-shipment and it'll be back to normal after the current stuff runs out.  (so a month)  Till then I'll mostly use the kitchen to wash.  I guess.  Avoiding the soap today has yielded positive results.

I'm officially downshifting to no news is good news.  Looked more closely at the façade on the website to see it's only a vehicle for one way communication, not two.  Just crappy service.  Oh well, beggars v choosers. 

Likely means I won't be able to get a schedule settled for when we can start though.
