Well, Joe passed another block, gonna take his digestion a while to reset it seems. 

Was eager and playful tonight, attacking my finger and making faces back to me as normal.  Still refusing the frozen, but took a healthy dose of pellet and more importantly some frozen peas.  Long a favorite treat, they should help with the intestinal issues the species is known for.  (they are part of the base for my homemade frozen as well)

Joe didn't eat again.  We seem to be heading to an every-other-day thing.  Hopefully filter is in today.

So, the neighbors now know of TEH PLAN.  At least the ones across the street, but likely everyone. 

They started up on the 'what the hell you doing to our property' type questions.  Really think they would have figured out they SOLD it by now.  Hasn't been theirs in ages, and we already went down the 'you gotta abide by our bylaws' path with the Halloween stuff.

I can see the neighbor behind you or beside you getting a convenient memory about where the property line is - in this neighborhood, we had a terrible land-hog that way, and I don't know HOW Grampa kept out of it when he shared a line with the man - me and Buster's Daddy were good friends with his grandsons, and they had the BEST stories about bits of the feud with another neighbor that they probably had no business relating.  It was HI-LARIOUS to us kids.

They're the heirs, so even though we share that line now and they're strange fellows, I don't think they failed to learn how happy a land-hog feuding with a neighbor is - and records and surveyors are easier to come by these days.  And Daddy didn't play when it came to his land.

-But how does the guy across the street come to get ideas about your back yard?  I'm asking.

Because they used to own this land.  It was supposed to be part of their own private little community/HOA/something (which amounted to our two houses, no less, but let them have some control about what goes on over here).  However, this house sold several times over the years since it was built, and those HOA laws didn't get passed down to US.  We didn't sign any agreement when we bought, and you can't make us retroactively.  So, the neighbors across the street still think they should have a say in what goes on over here.  (thus the Halloween dislike when we first moved in)

I'd suggest having somebody check the deed for restrictions before you build, if it were me. It would be annoying to get a cease and desist once you knocked a wall out.

Well, Joe ate his frozen last night, but had to take several stabs at it.  So, that's improvement in my book.  We'll see if the every other day holds true again after finally downing an actual balanced meal meant to prevent the blockage problems. 

Need to clean out his tank again for the food he's refused to eat.

Seems awful early to be posting from work for an office job, but you've had a lot to say in the last half hour...  Not left for work yet, or yours starts early?

It's almost 8am here.  I've been here a couple hours already. 

Flex time allows one to set their own hours to a degree, I choose the early side.

Slow morning at work then, not that I'm complaining.  I love having someone to talk to when I feel like talking so early.
