Random crap with Uno.

Joe only ate about 6 pellets, fed by hand one at a time.  Still refusing frozen, still not acting normal.  No, eating the goldfish is not enough to curb a healthy appetite, so he wasn't just 'full'.  And goldfish are not exactly a great diet either, meant more as a treat. 

The lack of eating is a problem for a multitude of reasons, most pressing now is the food is rotting, so now I have to clean the tank again.  Meanwhile the slightly acidic nature of the Amazonian water in the tank is killing the shrimps (expected, but hoping they'd get eaten before that happened).

My memory has been suspect of late, but I believe he's explained that alternate Fridays off are a military base thing.

I was working in the morning but flexed my time working late on wednesday (thus the long day complaint) to be off for Talia's sale.  Which was cancelled because power out.  No word on when that reschedule is going to be. Heading out to eat because no power still.

Joe misplaced his other friend last night.  Also, 2 cubes of homemade food have gone missing (could have broken up as part of natural process) as have the two known shrimp corpses.  2 shrimp left alive = 2 known to have died (corpses gone), 2 alive, 2 missing.  They could get sucked into the filter intake.

The water feels warm, the new heater might be over-aggressive.  checking with old school thermometer.

At the risk of ruining the non-surprise (I had strict marching orders), to all the *young* counter ladies at the mall, [fuddle-duddle] you. 

You might want to pay attention to the calendar and think the dude that looks like he has no business anywhere near the makeup counters with his daughter, both looking lost, might need some help instead of making eye contact and assisting the lady behind me instead.  5 separate ladies!

Fortunately the manager spotted us, knowing exactly what was up, and ignored me to ask my daughter if she was shopping for mom, and took my silent cues to guide Talia into making the correct decision.  Then whipped one of the counter girls into shape.
