Think I have a lot of broken branches up in the trees.  just little things though.  they seem to be flapping at odd angles now.

Wind warning extended to 3PM.  Neighborhood has more damage than the one a few years back, we've been out checking on folks.  Our house is fine so far.  Father's dancing, Mother is laughing.  Chimera has a leg flapping limply in the wind.  He's dead,dead.   

Neighbor's weatherbug still offline (and is wobbly, it might come off their roof).  Dee event center (mile away) recording 89 mph max gusts.

We think he's mostly done growing. My dad was only 5'10", and neither of my grandfathers were much taller, but we must have height somewhere in the family because my brother is 6'2" and most of my male cousins on my dad's side are pretty tall. My sister is 5'5", but my mom was only 5'2 and that's what I am as well.

I'm 6'1".  My Uncles on both sides are taller, most my dad's side is all similar height 6'-6'3", my mom's dad was short, but his boy was tall. 

Yeah, only the Chimera at our place.  And he was damaged beforehand.  Looking at it, I could probably figure a way to fix it, but I'm interested in a complete tear down and rebuild on him.

Dang.  Bigger than I am, and the whole world is built a little undersize for me - theater seating, for example, can be harsh, and there's no finding pants that fit.  I don't know how people without a mother who sews cope.

It would have changed my adolescence profoundly if I hadn't been a late bloomer - high school got a lot easier in 11th grade, when all those boys who couldn't take me stopped making me prove it.

There are plenty of car models my head hits the roof.  Even more the seat doesn't go far enough back to keep my knees from banging dashboards.

I know, right?  We're not all THAT tall  - 6', 6'1" is above average, but strikingly tall is 6'2", minimum.

Backseats are worse - especially if the driver is a youth with a good stereo, but that's a separate issue.

Hey, I drive a Corolla right now, and it's fine.  (though the back seat is a bit uncomfortable now for my boys, and a process for me to fold my legs out of on the rare occasion I sit back there)  My former Tercel was just barely adequate.  The Tercel before that was great, despite being the smallest of the lot.  None of these were 'big' cars. 

Meanwhile I've been in bigger "SUV" vehicles where my head hits the ceiling (looking at you KIA).  It's rather random which models have issues.  All models need a wider range of motion and should come standard with a seat up and down adjust as well as fore and back IMO.  It's not that there's not enough room there, it's the adjustments don't offer the range for anyone outside the "normal".
