Interjection: I think a color that rarely appears in the natural world would help with the background issue because that it means the majority of pictures would not conflict with the color. A few colors that come clearly into my mind includes orange and gold.

Branding.  The logo is Green.  I'll have to deal with conflicts.

The green reminds me of stereotypical radioactive waste. A radioactive warning sign on the pumpkins appears to fit the logo's character.

I don't particularly think everyone needs to celebrate it, mind you.  And most certainly not to my extent.

It began with the fact that my family is more into the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays than the Halloween holiday. By the time I could actually appreciate the holiday, I lost interest in it from a lack of exposure beyond a recognition of the fact that some people really enjoy it.

Mom HATED Halloween.  I started doing it myself at age 8.  My unique position of having a job and thus my own disposable income at that point played no small part.  My determined persistence at it after several years of failure is more difficult to pin down.

...BTW - sometimes when it's too faint against a light background, stamping it again in the same spot will darken it and fix...

Looking at an automagic album maker for the website, since google is dropping picasa.  A number have stamp functions. 

Pinterest is my holdup so far.

I'm having trouble finding a free one that will let pinterest work, not totally close it off.
