I do not know the person personally, but a quick search on google reveals a user with the name Tuberski on Apolyton.

He invented the Tuberski.

You notice how I have the last post in every thread on page one of Rec Commons?  That's a minor tuber.  -I'm told a REAL one would be getting the last post in every thread showing in the root directory.  [shrugs]  It's springtime, and the weekends are getting real slow on the boards.

I think Unorthodox might have been packing for the construction project he mentioned earlier in the thread. This would explain the extended absence of him because it requires the family to locate an adequate storage spot for the materials they remove from the effected area.

Why would would you want to head into the Grand Canyon right now? I hear it remain cold into the late spring on the rim and blazing hot at the bottom into the early fall of a year.

[shrugs] The view's really impressive any time the air's clear - and it would be like Uno to want to do it in the off-season.

Define cold. 40s in the morning 60s in the afternoon. Bryce got cold yesterday in the storm, but we had fun with that too. We head home tomorrow.

Orderville is perhaps the most "Uno" town on the map.  Someone attempted to create a monster out of really bad articulated random bones.  There's random antlers in odd places (including as 'fangs'), and just all kinds of fail.  Awesome.

Of course, my skull is still for sale in Orderville.  It doesn't stink near as bad as a couple years ago.  Still problematic size and weight for getting it home...then there's the molding problems.  (roughly 5' long)



Bryce, might not be as expansive, but more picturesque than the grand canyon. 



We did "THE" hike.  Down from the rim through all those hoodoos.  Wasn't sure I was going to make it back out.  (Our rental was at the bottom, so I had an escape route if I couldn't)

2) Yes, Bryce has more plant life and is prettier, I've always thought so from seeing them on calendars. Flyover, too, if I had my bearings right.

We did the south rim tour on the way back from my little brother's wedding - Daddy hadn't gone too stupid yet, but has weak, and somebody had to stick close.  I fell on that grenade, freeing up our wimminz to have a good time.  Daddy started complaining that I was making him look old holding onto his elbow - so under 30 seconds after I backed off he tripped, and would have gone down if a bystander hadn't caught him.

Interwebs was sucky.  Worked the day I woke at 3 am above, but normal hours sucked.

Looking forward to seeing how Vera saw this. 

Friday and Saturday were rainy.  We took advantage of this, with people thinking we are nuts, by taking atmosphere pics. 

In fact, bummed the cloud passed before we could get this shot, we headed back to this burn scar specifically to take pics of a dead forest in the fog/cloud.
