Grilling improves the taste?

Jim is replacing the barghest at the end of the corn tunnel, so plan is to have the sensor about half way down the tunnel, so Jim turns on and starts moving after the group is IN the tunnel. 

Barghest, while awesome, and one of my favorite things to date when coupled with the corn tunnel, proved a little too much for some kids, and I don't like kids leaving in tears...don't know how Jim will go over.

Grilling improves the taste?

Grilling is the traditional preparation for Cinderella pumpkins, my preferred pumpkin for cooking.  These are sugar pumpkin, so don't really know if it will turn out as good.  Grilling as opposed to baking reduces more water content from the pumpkins, which makes doing up the puree easier if nothing else.

Super extended forecast is showing rain for Halloween and another storm a couple days before.  My experience with watching this forecast in years past holds that the storms move a few days one direction or another.

Mildly concerned they are predicting a very dry October prior to that.  Since secondary water gets turned off soon, that could mean a rough year on the grass.
