Let's Make Smilies!

For those playing along at home- the first two smilies Geo posted featured red hats, which has acquired unfortunate reactionary connotations as sort of a uniform for dumb hate politics in recent years.  My fix retroactively fixes that.

  <- This one turns out to be easy as the hat doesn't move and I only had to hue-shift once and paste the results into all the other 16 frames.  The waving hat is a chore that will take a lot longer, as it moves around and I have to select/alter multi-shades of red one at a time 18 times.

I was able to resist the urge to be provocative to those of nazi leanings and make the hat blue, though that would have looked much better...

That was, indeed, a tedious chore to make a less-vivid smilie.  I should gone w/ blue -or green- but I'm not gonna do it again...

Bumping the text size up in the default theme has caused some complications - Marr was running onto a second line in the Reply box, and I had to bump something down to the Zoo to compensate.  I chose -reluctantly- this morning. 

Member feedback welcome on what to bump instead, if anyone prefers it more accessible...

Incidentally but related, Geo is behind a great many installed-on-the-menu smilies, and has never used up his ask.  He asks for stuff that just makes sense for everyone.

-Standards are also low for getting off-menu 'Hidden' smilies installed -no menu crowding, my only reason to be selective- you can have something virtually private/personal, since who'll save and remember the smilie code?  Less trouble than img-linking from an album...

That policy would prove a problem if many took me up on it - the Zoo's close to full, always has been, and I'm out of ways to make space, short of taking less-used largish things like Perfect Cell off the menu, making them 'Hidden'.

I really, really want to keep the Zoo all on the page at one time - it's hard enough to find what you want even now...

Incidentally, another enlarged-text complication -a really surprising number IRT smilies in the last few days- is that the spaces between being bigger runs a few onto the next line and has the Zoo bursting at the seams allasudden.  I'm going to have to ask wilkes how tough it would be to fiddle the default width of the Popup form - half page wide would still tend to be workable and give me a LOT of space to play with; just a few pixels would help the heck outta it.
