I mentioned above in my big Heroes of Might & Magic 2 mod for Civilization 2 release that I was also releasing a Heroes of Might & Magic 1 ADDON and so here it is! If placed over the top of the Civ2 HoMM2 mod will convert almost everything into a HoMM1 experience! Enjoy! :)
