The main hallway of this house -and Momma just can't wrap her head around this when decorating- is a minor obstacle course for me; her shoulders ride low and narrow enough that she can't brush against the pictures lining the wall and knock them down.  She gets mad at me when I bump into the bookshelf sitting right around the corner where I'll bump into it and knock over some dolls.  She gets madder when I tell her if she'd stop setting traps I'd stop tripping them.  Yeah Momma, I brushed my hip just to spite you, sure.

I'm a lot bigger than you, Mom, need more clearance, and that's not going to change - I can't change it.  But this is my perverse and hostile world - I don't know of another one that fits better and I'd certainly look around for one if I could...

Expanding as an artist.   Not all that uncharacteristic a DOD design, though, right?

Not at all.  every bit of the design was me mixing colors though, they all have a sheen to them that doesn't picture well, using metallic paints.

I don't know if Mexican DOD artist have any designs that spare in them, but the flowers don't strike me as far off.

I'm completely incapable of doing a 'proper' DOTD design at that size.  No way in hell I could do that detailed.

It's not completely uncommon for Oscars to get moody like this, but it's always worrying.  Refusing treats he usually loves, even.  Going to have to see if I can change up his diet to get him eating again...maybe some goldfish friends as well.

Not particularly attached, to be honest, but I have no desire to watch anything starve to death either.  And he nearly did last time he pulled this.  I was a day, two at most from putting him out of his misery last time.

Honestly, he's getting up there for a fish, and has on average another year or two left in him as it is.  5 at most.
