I've been lighting from within since 2008.  It's just subtle, like a lot of my stuff.

You'd never know there are 2 floods shining on that coffin.  Then the candle, with a light inside.  Easy for a photo shoot.  More difficult to have people walking.

It would be easy to go haunter 101, make a bunch of simple tombs, lit from within, and add subtly motions.  Lid lifters, sliders, rockers, etc to the lids.  Tombs are great places to hide things.  I might even be able to hide some lighting tricks decently...

Subtle.  Like the breathing graves from 2013.  They were a big hit before Kyle tripped on the cords...

! No longer available

Like you said, it could all pay for itself easy enough, after all, it's what all the cool kids are doing...

Or bring more day of the dead style and light the whole area in candles by the hundreds.

Fun.

Awesome.

Original.

Annoying as all hell to light.

Fake candles don't live up to my expectations.  At least none I'm aware of.

Ohhh!!! The lights in the first photograph fascinate me for some unknown reason.

That's what I love about your monsters. Thanks for sharing the idea of the monster sculpture trail.

That sounds like a boy job. At age 10 or 12 I would've paid you a dollar or two ( about as much as I ever had in my pocket at that age )  to play with fire.

I assume the previous comment has a ironic tone in that the object of this photo lacks significant monetary value . . .

Stupid crossover idea popped in my head this morning:

Nightmare before Christmas gang take over for the Ghosts of Christmas/Krampus/other "dark' aspects to Christmas.

Santa realizes Christmastown has gone too soft and naughty is on the rise because they've lost that dark aspect so he approaches Jack...

Disney, make it happen.

Ant Man

Take a character I don't like, a concept so abstract it's hard to film and bordering on plain silly, cast actors I could care less about....

and make an above average film.

Alec really enjoyed it.

Best cgi ants I've ever seen...

You assume wrong.

That IS state of the art for around here.  The Bat computer is in the basement somewhere.  Unfortunately the drive broke, so I don't know what value the item has, working on a replacement.

Any proposal to upgrade these items is immediately shot down in senate/house.  Meanwhile, cars this old would be relegated to shows and museums.

I have a stack of 5 inch floppys here too, but they have writing/can't be pictured.

Couple more pieces working on the website this morning, though the one's going to take me a bit of time for it to really be implemented, I at least confirmed it's working as intended.

Having to learn new programming as I go...meh.

Couple more pieces I REALLY want to get added make me nervous.

After last night/this morning, about 90% through the worst most tedious bits of the rebuild.  All my galleries broke, so I've had to go back and rebuild them pic by pic.  A lot of copy and paste going on, since it was easier than downloaded from my present storage and uploaded somewhere new for drag and drop.   At least the new gallery is mobile compatible and runs slicker on PC as well.  Never was fond of Google's slideshows.

Not that going through 11 years of picture albums wasn't informative, showing where I've grown and a bunch of what was I thinking moments.

At some point I'ma gonna to have to sit down with photoshop as well for new thingamabobs as I reorganize areas.    I have a new tutorial to write too...

I'm not sure where the cutoff is, but at some point, potlucks become a disorganized mass of rabble milling about in insanity.  300ish is definitely over the cutoff.

Half the time I think I work at a preschool...
And the other half you think you're being unfair to preschoolers?

Pretty much.

Migraine starting.  Probably related to the aforementioned 300 people crammed into a space big enough for about 50.  I don't have my hermit cave anymore either.

Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden. He drove out the man, and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
