Walk in, Engineers with big drawings of the machine up on the board, arguing about how to build a stand to get all the wire and hose connections to line up properly. 

"Guys, it's already done." 

"But we didn't tell you how to build it yet.  Theres (list of problems)"

"You told me we needed to build a stand last Friday, so I did."

"But how did you (list of problems)"

"Be a lot easier if you just go look, it's already up on the stand and (list of problems) all line up fine."

If you win, look at it as playing part of the workplace people politics -nobody gets to not play people politics anytime, anywhere- that will get you listened to better.  Put on your best suit, hEt gets off work and you two have an expensive meal, make a sorta bland, funny-but-not-TOO-funny short speech about the problem and your solution -mention teamwork and slide the higher-ups a little credit if you can stand to- and Megamind has advanced his evil plans.

I would remain dubious of situations where an individual plans to drug another person through its duration. In other news, I hope Unorthodox receives a in that competition.

I believe hEt's thinking London vacation on the company's dime - and I can see downsides to this for Our Main Man, but it's a huge potential return for a little discomfort and having to perform in somebody else's show after you're used to directing.

LONDON, man.  There outta be overnight accommodations and a free tourist day in it, minimum - I'd spring for a few more nights and make a week of it, really get my trauma's worth outta the trip, if it was me.

London is really quite an impressive city. Turns out a city has to be big and varied to fit the population of a small country inside it.

London is also home to some exceptionally fine and free parks, gardens, museums, galleries and libraries. I know some locals I could put you in touch with for recommendations along your lines of interest, if you'd like.

I'd highly recommend a visit for the anthropology and wow-factor alone if you haven't yet visited one of the great metropolis.
