The dungeon is a slight improvement from THE HOLE that I used to mention, and it's purposely kept off the grid. 

Anyone flirting interacting with my monsters is cute.

hEt supports building them.  That's down right sexy.

It's Uno, man.

He might be working on a Halloween project, he might be stuck somewhere awful at work - and he might be in trouble with hEt.

-All three at once are also possible...

Can't seem to recall the last time I was in trouble with hEt, and certainly not the last time it was for any significant length of time. 

She's THE BOSS.  I've made that clear for at least 16 years now, if not 20.  What she speaks is gospel.  Period.  Question it and face my wrath.  Rare disagreements are handled in private, NOT in front of the kids, and it's usually over what to do about the kids.  Given my childhood, I don't have the best base to build on in that department, but at least I recognize that and can quickly follow her lead instead, thus disagreements are fleeting.

Well, back down to the dungeon.  At least this time is to MY corner of the dungeon.

I may be the Boss, but Uno's the one whose has been picking up the pieces and the slack as I've been falling apart in the last 4 months since my mom died, and even before that while I was helping to care for her.  It totally makes up for the fact that my house is a workshop all the time. 

Plus, I love the uniqueness of the monsters in the yard.  Uno's work is exceptional.

Tough thing, losing a parent.  I found out the hard way that a boy shouldn't lose his dad at any age, and I was 39.  I was having grief relapses for almost a year - the universe just didn't seem right for a long time without his jerk butt sitting at the center.

That's exactly where I am...lost both my parents at 38.  My dad died in October, but my mom's cancer had just spread, and she needed us, so grief went to the background.  After the cancer took her, it was like it all came back and I had to grieve for them both.  April was a bad month, Uno pretty much ran everything, as most days it was all I could do to get out of bed.  Things get better, but I still have moments of overwhelming grief.  At least now they're moments instead of days and weeks. 

I've learned it doesn't matter what age you are when you lose your parents, or how grateful you are that they aren't suffering anymore (the last few weeks watching my mom waste away were awful), it just sucks that they aren't there anymore.  It's a hole in my world that nothing can fill.

She's not exactly ignoring you, she has trouble posting from her phone.  Something about it kicking her back to the main page all the time.
