I've seen a decent amount of Buffy.

It was one of them "oh nothing else is on" shows before I had netflix.  Decent for a monster of the week show, kinda like a slightly more adult Scooby Doo...

Angel had profound problems until near the end, with a much weaker lead and no direction/identity.  Yes; I said it.  Boreanaz is an even weaker performer than soap-opera-hack Gellar.

Very weak mystical world-building on both shows, too.

Patrick Stewart has something he doesn't, incidentally, and I've never said a single word against women who proclaim "the bald guy is sexy", which is not a few of them.  -I can sorta see a Sean Connery cool thing going there.
