Painting this, cleaning up that. 

My mother in-law retired from teaching, and I'm selling off the laboratory.  It was posted all of 30 minutes before it sold. 

Couple other commission pieces being made again as well. 

Giving serious thought to a major tone down in the amount of stuff I build next year.

Mostly money reasons.  If I save next year I can get a skulltronix for 2014.  That, and Trevor is good enough to use 2 years.

I really only built Trevor this year.  Would maybe consider a second next year (sell Trevor), as I could do it a lot better now. 

Might build some things to sell, I have some more raw materials for things I wanted to ADD to the lab for instance.  A skulltronix is beyond my ability to build, however.  I'm not so good with the itsy bitsy stuff like making circuit boards, and one of these has been on my list for at least 5 years.

Anyhow.  Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I find it extremely coincidental that 2 years ago, I started "the harvest" theme specifically because many folks found it to be a joke.  "Corn and straw is for kids only" 

MANY jumped on it last year. 

Well, it's the theme for Spirit(playing with new button there) stores this year.

In other news currently watching the Bride of Frankenstein on a really bizaar local show with a host in terrible makeup talking to a sock puppet.  I think I've found a new Saturday tradition...

Might be going back to our original tribal theme next year.  Ironically, it was a marching band that got me back in the mood for that thing.

I draw inspiration from really oddball places.  They weren't even doing much of anything special, but just the SOUND of it, oh, I gotta go back to the tribal with the drums. 

Even whipped up a name and banner fro the theme. (getting better at the photoshop stuff)

Once I figured out how to utilize layers (thank you) it really became more simple.  I used to enjoy graphics design and would play with it as a child on the Apple IIe.
