Old people problems. I had cataract surgery (light adjustable lenses), and now that my vision isn't like looking through smoke anymore, I can see the "floaters" more clearly. That's the term for clumps of protein in the interior eye fluid that tend to increase as we age. Sort of like looking at a drop of water with a microscope. Usually more obvious when I wake up in the morning on my back, looking at a painted ceiling. But sometimes visible on the periphery when I am upright and in bright sunlight. Sort of a  blur like the area around a small mosquito's wings as it flies near your eye.

I get those sometimes - not lately, though.

Always thought is was some kind of scratches/damage to my eye's lenses.

Well, I'm back from two fillings, and I'm delighted to report that the new dentist has passed the audition.  All the girls -close to my age- are still there and happy.  This is VERY good news.

It's good to have as little stress as possible at the dentist. When mine remodeled he put in TVs. I watch The Food Network.

Slightly big week for me - had to put shoes on and leave the house two days running.

Doctors appointment Thursday; nothing much to report except miserable weather that reflected how I felt.

Finally got my Christmas shopping done yesterday - and I'm happy to report that I kept my spirits up enough to get it done in short order, and I didn't time it too badly for crowds, or so late the stores seemed stripped bare.

Buster's getting a stuffed money and a little bucket of thick colored chalks labeled for sidewalk art.  I think those'll go over fine.

-Now I don't have to stress about doctors appointment for three months, or Christmas shopping for 11...
