[Unorthodox]

A mixture of fantastic, adequate, and poor performances make for a "good" movie, but not a great one.

Anne Hathaway absolutely steals the show SO thuroughly, and is in it so short a time, the rest just feels inferior. 

Cinematography was a similar mixture of superb and confoundingly awful.  Various techniques were used to purposely make the actors stand out and it leads to some distracting shots.  Things that should have been set pieces were green screened, and stuff, just confusing. 

I am very rarely blown away by the makeup department anywhere, but this is one where they absolutely NAIL it perfectly.  Yeah, it's minimalistic no fancy effects, but just expertly crafted when you know what you're looking for.
