Recently saw the Utah monolith on TV. I think it was "Paranormal Caught on Tape." They seemed to focus on the mysterious appearance and disappearance, and that Google Earth had it there for years before it was discovered.

well...consider the source.

From what I've heard it was some nature lovers that removed/destroyed the original.  https://gritdaily.com/utah-monolith-removed/

But you gotta realize the area was strict pack in pack out...including your own waste, and the visitors were not respecting those rules at all.  It's a delicate ecosystem out there.  So I kind of understand their point.

Google Earth seems to indicate sometime 2015-2016 installation.  Not terribly shocking it took years to find considering the local.

A ship at sea is its own world. To be the captain of a ship is to be the unquestionable ruler of that world and requires all of the leadership skills of a prince or minister.
