With Christmas less than two weeks away, astronauts aboard the International Space Station are getting into the holiday spirit.

Terry Virts, a 47-year-old astronaut from Baltimore, Md., tweeted a photo from their "Astronaut Office Christmas party" on Friday, replete with a Santa and elves caps and, apparently, a Christmas tree.

Last week, Virts tweeted several stunning images of earth, including the aurora borealis, a bird's eye view of city lights at night and Typhoon Hagupit over the Philippines.

Virts, who piloted the space shuttle Endeavour during a 13-day mission in 2010, is scheduled to return to Earth in May.

Olaf in space...

Now if they just cover the song decently, they can interest an entire generation of little girls.

(Tali prefers Tangled)

My niece (5) is TOTALLY head over heels for Frozen, though.  Elsa, specifically, not Anna.  Same with similarly aged girls in the neighborhood.

Maybe it's the ages.

I miss traditional animation, personally.  Too much computermination going on these days.

The Pixar-type stuff is nice - but yeah; there's something missing.

At atrociously high energy states, the properties of matter change subtly and new miracles become possible. The Plasma Accretion process is now dangerous and difficult to control, but its products will soon become commonplace in our society.
