I think it might be because I built the faction in one editor and then fixed it in another.  I need to find the original editor that I used.  In both cases, the info in the datalinks is correct.  I will fix them asap.

SOrry for the confusion.

If you can't find the original editor, there are people here (me among them) who can tell you how to change the text file directly to work properly.

Keep 'em coming, Pentalarc.

You'd have better luck getting someone to voluteer art if you told us more about the factions, especially describing the leader and the leader/faction personality/concept, and even posted any images you could find that are related to the concept.  Something more than the bare stats and faction .txt stuff would be more inspirational.  Just rambling free-association would be fine; that's how ideas get born, and a formal presentation is unneeded at this point.  Tell us whatever you can think of about the "hook" of each faction.  Persistance will tend to be rewarded.

I will be posting more soon, just very busy right now.  And will set aside some time for babbling. :-)

One thing that might help - have a look in Downloads, under Art Modding.  There's a buttload of Bases files, and some portraits, logos and landscapes.  If you see things you like for the four basic elements of any particular faction, the work of assembling ought to be fairly simple.

The prevalence of anoxic environments rich in organic material, combined with the presence of nitrated compounds has led to an astonishing variety of underground organisms which live in the absence of oxygen and 'breathe' nitrate. Likewise, the scarcity of carbon in the environment has forced plants to economize on its use. Thus, all our efforts to return carbon to the biosphere will encourage the native life to proliferate. Conversely, the huge quantities of nitrate in the soil will be heaven to human farmers.
