It is in pre-alpha, meaning that It is really basic and most of the game files remain unaltered (this will change)

The basic premise for the mod is a basic improvement, replacement, and kind of a spiritual successor to SMAC. I will be working on the story line shortly, and more of it with the help of others, but for know, this is what I have.

Do we need certain patches?

No, these factions and alpha should work with anything. Just plug and play (And back up your file so that you have a pure centauri file to play with)

Note:Do no look in the datalinks at the factions, it will cause the game to spontaniously crash for no reason whatso ever, but this crash only affects the game you were playing, not your whole computer/
