This purports to be the entire movie, albeit with commercials.

It is made of win and awesome in it's clunky way, and featured the most depressing ending ever - until the next PotA movie...

Oh my yes - saw it for the first time ca. 1970 CBS showing.  Heckuva thing to go to bed on when you're five...

My lasting impression of the series was that that the budget was static or shrinking for each subsequent film. Like when you start with an Uno Original sculpture and over the years you get copycats and knock-offs of copycats.

-Ever notice that Conquest of the Planet of the Apes looks to have taken place on the planet where Kirk's brother died?

No, but anything to save a buck. Why waste money on production design or a new exotic location?

I'v4e got the idea that that location was called Century City, and was considered exotic architecture in the 60s...
