Title: My short story - Layers of Gambit

I have written a short story, titling it "Layers of Gambit". Its written with a lot of help from ChatGPT. I just want to put that out there. Please see attached document for the story.

Comments welcomed. I am currently brainstorming ideas for a second book.

Hi there!

I took a quick scan. Looks like a nicely-written narrative.

It sucked me in fairly quickly. I liked the line about "Morganite lite" being fundamentally different than "Spartan" light, and especially the segue into the point that Morganites laugh seventeen times a day, and Spartans only three.

Give us more!

You'd do way better for views with the actual text in posts.  I have a novella-length, roughly, story I had to post in four chapters a while back, but that works fine, if length is a factor...
