Solver has come to our rescue, God Bless and Keep him.

There was a sneaky hack 22 June, and it's too early to tell what-all the damage is.  Change your password, I guess.

I'll tell more when I know more...  Real busy right now.

-Do report anything weird you notice - we already know about the 'Templates: 4:' stuff at the bottom of the page, but anything else.

Obviously, we're having ongoing problems.

Doing my best to light a fire under our tech d00dz.  Brace yourself for a forum software upgrade, which will surely prove painful - but a lot less, I bet, than being crashed more than we're up.

In Belgium, do people sometimes react to something awful said by holding up both hands with pointer fingers crossed, as if warding off a vampire?

Save for muslims, hare khrisna's, and Jehova's witnesses (oh yes, and orthodox jews) there aren't many people who are preoccupied with 'evil' in Belgium.

Just tried to sent a gift to another member.
Didn't seem to work, and kept saying "member doesn't exist", even after I found the proper member name (and copied it from there) through the member search widget of the forum.

If, say, the member was me?  I signed up as "BUncle", and I think it uses that User Name instead of my Display Name.

I also see that if you mouse over "Send / Gift" in the user's left sidebar where they've made a post, the username is embedded in the URL, not the display name.  So by using the link, at least the correct information would be entered.  Didn't test whether the gift giving actually works.  Just noting that the URL looks sane, and provides a way to know what the user's signup identity is.
